Sea Day (Sunday 4 February 2024)

Today was a sea day so, after a good night's sleep and a leisurely breakfast we all did our own thing - chilling, reading, browsing in the shops etc.

G and E went for a mini explore of the ship and spotted M and M winning a small fortune on the slots in the casino so we all decided to have lunch together in the main dining room.   It was a good lunch, punctuated by a long lecture over the tannoy about eating locations, washing and sanitising our hands, reserving sunbeds and how to avoid blocking the toilets 🤣.

Formal night tonight so we all got our gladrags on and headed to dinner. We had a lovely table for 9 and the food was up to the usual standard.

Then it was the captain's welcome party. Captain Neil Turnbull from Derbyshire made an amusing speech whilst we had some bubbly on the house.

We then went our separate ways. G and E went to a Dolly Parton tribute from Dani Graham and the others went to see the Headliners. Dani Graham as Dolly was brilliant. She had been on 'Stars in their Eyes' in 2018. The bar she performed in was so full the crew had to close the shutters at one point to stop more people coming in.
