Our excursion today was 'Leisurely Gran Canaria'. This was mainly a coach ride from the north-east to the to the south-west of the island along the one and only motorway on the island.
Our first stop was at Maspalomas to admire the sand dunes there, followed by a stop overlooking Puerto Rico
where we stayed at in 1991. We were shocked as to how dry everywhere was due to
lack of rain.
Our final stop was at Puerto Mogan with its shops, bars and lovely marina. We
enjoyed a drink in one if the waterfront bars before heading back to the ship
and lunch.
In our cabin we found a single red rose on the bed in honour of Valentine's Day
After lunch we walked to the nearby shopping mall La Muelle. There was a fashion exhibition in the mall. After a look round it was then time for another beer in one of the outside bars overlooking the ship.
